Developing social apps in the cloud
With Gatcha.com, Netlog NV has moved their very popular gaming features to its own cross social platform application, and it's doing that in the cloud.

This talk wants to give an introduction to the challenges developers face when creating social applications with Amazon Web Services.
Speakers: Jurriaan Persyn (Netlog Lead Developer) - twitter @oemebamo & Pieter De Schepper twitter @nebu007

PHP through the eyes of a hoster
Most PHP talks are given by developers, designers and project managers working on internal projects. This one is different because Thijs is a support manager and open source evangelist of a large hosting company.

This 45 minutes talk on PHP is from the view point of a large web hosting company hosting many projects on the Internet. It would gives support managers, insights to the wonders of the PHP world, as well its problems and solutions.

Speaker: Thijs Feryn (Support manager @ Combell, Board member @ PHPBenelux) - twitter @ThijsFeryn
