European WinPHP Challenge - Registration closing soon!

As has become tradition, Microsoft are again organizing their European WinPHP Challenge. The challenge is to go and develop a PHP application that will run well on Windows. Four judges will decide on which application will end up winning. You will have two months to develop the application and deploy it to a special competition server. »»»

Dutch PHP Conference announces Call for Papers

The Dutch PHP Conference has just announced that they've opened their Call for Papers. Any speakers and potential speakers are now able to submit their proposals for this year's edition of the conference through the CfP form. Given that the conference has been awesome ever since it's inception, this is one of the conferences that you'll surely want to submit to if you're a speaker or someone who wants to start speaking. Be quick though, the Call for Papers ends January 31st. »»»

He just moved back to the USA after a year in The Netherlands, so we felt it was time to get Cal back over to Europe. And what better reason than a keynote at the first PHPBenelux Conference for Cal to take the opportunity to get a jetlag? We're happy to announce Cal Evans as one of the two keynote speakers!

We are pleased to announce the first speaker of the PHPBenelux Conference 2010: David Zuelke. David is a regular on PHP conferences and so we were happy to see several proposals by David. We picked his talk "The State of SOAP in PHP because SOAP is a common technology used in web services and service oriented architectures these days. Many PHP developers will encounter some SOAP service in their work or private projects sooner or later. »»»
